F.A.Q

What is a Community Group?
A community group is a small get together of believers and nonbelievers for the purpose of realizing what the Word of God means for specific aspects of our life. We form relationships. We learn truth. We live truth together.

When do Community Groups Meet?
There are currently two community groups: Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Tuesday Community Group is held at Wayne and Natalie Golden’s house and Wednesday Community Group is held at Ben and Lindsey Ward’s house.

What do I bring to Community Group?
If it’s your first time, just bring yourself! The group will be looking at the books of the Bible so you can bring one, but if you forget we’ll let you borrow one. If you’re a seasoned veteran in the group, feel free to bring some brownies!!!

What is a Community Group Leader?
A community group leader is one who feels called to invest in the lives of a few college students. They actively pursue the Christian life understanding the sentiment of Robert Murray McCheyne, “the greatest need of my people is my own personal holiness.” The community group facilitates the group to open up to each other for the purpose of thinking through the application of the Christian life.

How do we live out the Christian Life together?
We have fun together, eat together, and/or enjoy each other as friends every time we meet. We learn the Bible together. We pray together. We help each other understand how we can serve specifically. We model Acts 2:42-47.

What is the purpose for Community Groups?
The storyline of the Bible is God giving saving grace to sinners. The purpose of the community group, like all other Christian endeavors, is to see God add to his family daily. (Acts 2:47)
